ABOUT THE BOOK
"I have been following the Body Doctor for over a year now and the results are great. After 1 month I started to really feel a difference, as well as shifting the pounds. The routine is clear and simple. If you want results then like anything you need to stick to the programme - but it is worth it. I managed to lose 2.5 stones and many inches as a result. My strength has also significantly improved. This is a great book."

"I read the other reviews on this site and thought this book would be perfect for me. I bought hand weights and pumped up my Swiss ball and got cracking on the exercises. They were so dull and boring! It took about 2 hours just to get through them the first time - they were just such a chore. I persevered a few more times and then gave up. Looks like a lot of other people have too - look how many used ones Amazon have for sale! I suppose if you're a gym regular you'll find stuff of use in the book, but if you're bored by gyms I think you'll probably be bored by this book."

"I've had this book for about four months now, and have been loosely following the plan- I bought it to give me some guidance on using the gym effectively. Not being a massive exercise fan, but sadly being of the physique which needs controlling (!), I do need to do regular exercise!
It's worked for me- I've not even followed the diet, just the exercise plan 3 times per week, but have lost 2 " off my hips and waist, lost some back fat, have actual shape to my arms, and can see my physique changing.
It's given focus to gym time, which is good- the only difficulty is in the length of the routine which requires you to work out with weights for 30 minutes plus stretching, plus cardio afterwards. I do cardio sessions separately to break this down to lunchtime sized slots.
Stick with it- the results are worth it!"

"Hi, It just occured to me that I have been prasing your book with the nutrition advice and exercise programme but never actually let you know!!! My husband is a professional football player in the Scottish Premier league. He suffered miocarditis- a chest infection two years ago and his battle back to fitness was a real struggle. My uncle came to one of his games and turned up the next day with the bodydoctor book and told him to give it a try. Up till that point he couldn't manage more than 60mins on the park. After starting the prgramme, the following week he not only managed a full 90mins but had a mid week game in which he played the full match too. We did the programme together and he got his match sharpness back and the stone back off that he'd put on since injury. I lost 8lbs (from 8 stone 13lbs to 8 stone 5lbs) and we both lost inches. I felt so much healthier, no grabbing biscuits straight from work and I looked more toned and fit. I recommended the programme to! eveyone and I know there was at least 5 books bought based on me raving about it so much. Since then we both tried to keep the sensible eating going and combining some of the exercises with others to stay motivated. Kenny now plays with Falkirk FC and picked up all player of the year awards last year while I'm happy I've still managed to keep the weight off and am healthy for my height (5ft 3). Thank you very much. Many thanks"

"If you are very keen on exercise and enjoy sitting on a rubber ball for hours on end, this book's for you. The majority of people will realise that quite a lot of the exercises are unrealistic unless you are quite fit. It is also pretty boring if you have a low tolerance for exercise.
Admittedly, I bought this book for a 'quick fix' to weight gain. Unfortunately it has sat on my shelf for the last 2 years and I am still the same size."
