ABOUT THE BOOK
"Stefan Ball is one of the Trustees at Mount Vernon, Dr Bach's home and where the Nelson Bach remedies are still made to his exact standard. Along with Judy Howard's Step by Step guide this book is the best value introduction and the most easily understood by the layman.
I read this before I became a practitioner and it gave me a very good understanding of the Bach philosophy as well as how to use the remedies. Stefan has a great love for the subject and is clear in all of his explanations. He is a custodian of Dr Bach's legacy.
Dr Bach created his system to be simple and available to all so that it can be used to treat our emotions before disease sets in. This book explains how an emotion such as fear can later cause physical complications if not dealt with as it surfaces. Stefan shows you how to recognise your emotions, diagnose and identify what remedy is useful. He also teaches the very important idea that each of us is totally individual and any pre-mixed remedy with names like 'Anger', 'Fatigue' etc. will not work on the same level as an individually selected remedy.
If you are serious about using Bach Remedies then this is the book for you. "

"The best book I have encountered on Bach remedies. It gives the impression the author really knows his subject unlike some of the other books. After each remedy description there is a case history showing where this remedy may be used, which is essential to go some way to fully understanding the remedy. Also included is a chapter on the subtle differences between remedies which appear to be very similar, which is again essential to fully understand the remedies. The book is packed full of usefull stuff and you really could gain a very full understanding of the remedies from relying on this book alone.
My advice to anyone with an interest in the remedies would be to read as many different books on the subject as possible ( getting a lot of different descriptions of the remedies ) and to try to memorise the basic descriptions of the remedies as soon as you can, so you don't keep having to flick through books every time a remedy is mentioned. I used mnemonics, eg for Honeysuckle - living in the past, I immediately associate the word Honeysuckle with the old song, "honeysuckle rose". Then I imagine a elderly woman sitting round a gramaphone listening to it remembering how great everything was in the old days. And hence I easily recall the description of the remedy."

"I found this to be the most comprehensive self-teaching guide for the Bach Flower Remedies to be published to date. Written by leading Bach Centre expert, Stefan Ball, it is beautifully laid out, with many case discussions and exercises which really help you to fully understand all of the remedies. Its 186 pages are packed full of useful information and it is extremely good value for its price."
