"I started by buying the Diet version of this book and although it covered a lot of the info, this book is definitely the foundation of information with the diet one being a follow-up once you decide that you need more recipes. As per my review of the diet one, it's a great plan and definitely something to aim for most of the time for life rather than a short-term dramatic diet. The celebrity endorsements in the media and in the book are testament to the fact that this is a hugely successful programme and I would recommend it highly (as a failed everything else published on diets-type). Please read my review of the diet book for more detailed feedback. BTW, the most annoying thing was having to wait 4-6 weeks for the book - I ended up with several copies having tried multiple online retailers!"

"This book is great! I lost a lot of weight on The South Beach Diet a couple of years ago, but, while the number on the scales looked good, I still didn't - too many wobbly, saggy, flabby bits remained. After failing to see any improvements using a traditional gym workout, Harley Pasternak's programme is finally changing my shape. It's easy to follow and really does take only 25 minutes a day. It's also very cheap to set up, and, because it can be done from the comfort of your own home, there are NO excuses for not keeping up with it. And you shouldn't get bored either because the exercises keep changing. I began to see and feel results within the first few days. I haven't lost much weight (just 1lb), but I have definitely gained muscle mass, so some fat must have been shifted to make way for it! I have dropped a dress size already, which is pretty good going for 4 weeks. I used to be obsessed with the number on my scales every morning, but I have stopped bothering with that now because of how much better I look and feel. My mid-section is very much stronger, which means that I am standing taller. My arms and legs are firm and toned. I just need to add some fake tan and I shall be ready for a bikini this summer.
