NVQ Level 2 Children's Care, Learning and Development: Candidate Handbook

"Im doing the official NVQ level 2 course and this book has helped me all the way through it. The units of the book match up to each of the mandatory and optional units. Providing help and support for each of the "what you must know and understand" questions. I think that the other person thats left a review has been trying to teach himself the book and thats why he has found it of no use as the questions at the end of each unit have got nothing to do with the NVQ but are there for people that are doing the actual NVQ to use to check their own knowledge progression with assesors and such at college. These are the official books that they use at my college and that why i was advised by my trainer to buy one. It has helped me to complete the written work for my NVQ level 2 in 2 months! And im now planning to start my level 3! I would highly reccomend this book for people that are doing the official NVQ level 2."

"The book is well presented, with the information coherently separated into the separate uits. However, the only way to check one's knowledge is to test yourself using questions, and of course answers. Unfortunately this book has questions at the end of each unit, but rather frustratingly, no answers. So I have no idea how I am progressing. Therefore I would definately not reccommend this book."
