"I learnt a lot from the book, found it easy to read with little jargon.
The book is very much biased towards the use (no matter what!)of medication, and only glosses over the advantages of herbal and alternative approaches towards living with Bi-Polar disorder.
I found much of the book irrelevant if you aren't from the uSA, as it is written very much for a US audience.
Learned something new about ECT, which I'm considering myself.
It's a good book for some background knowledge on Bi-Polar Affective Disorder, but I belive, because of it's bias towards meds, further reading by other authors etc, would be useful!"
