ABOUT THE BOOK
"This book is great; it maybe small in size, but it's BIG in impact!
I find myself dipping in and out of this book on a weekly basis - It's become my travel companion!

"This is a very small book, like one of those that you can find in a garden centre about mothers, friends, cats....
I found that there also was very little to read in it!
I liked some of the quotes, but there was not enough.

"I bought this book as a resource for a library of books in a Alcohol and Drug help agency. After the staff read it, we decided to buy another 50 to give to some of the clients we work with. Inspiring and a brilliant resource, small enough to use every day."

"Susan Jeffers, the author of this wonderful little pocket book, is the internationally renowned author of Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway and related titles. Her longer books are very helpful to many of us, and having a pocket sized guide is a practical tool. I find that "feeling the fear" is a good way to accept that fear, anxiety, and worry are normal parts of human experience. Equally helpful, in my opinion, is The Positive Power of Negative Thinking by Julie Norem, because many people are never going to eliminate negative thoughts and feelings, but we can learn to manage and harness our energy constructively. Individual differences are the key, and we can each find our own balance to make the most of life."

"This book is the perfect pocket book to carry with you during times of stress or self doubt, unlike the standard 'self help' title, the little book of confidence allows the reader to easily dip in and out of relevant sections. The advice is also realistic and practical there are no 'take a day to map out your life and analyse it' suggestions here. Excellent!"
