"I have bought this book for 3 people. Getting to grips with this little known problem, either an over or underactive thryoid, can be daunting. This book however gently takes you through all the possible treatments and tells you what to ask your doctor and how to get the best out of the medical treatment on offer. When I had my radioactive iodine treatment, I had to be isolated which is frightening. Sara Rosenthal helped me understand the implications of the treatment and sorted out any old wives tales, really helpful. Now I'm fully cured I buy the book for anyone who has had the condition diagnosed.
