ABOUT THE BOOK

USER REVIEWS
"I first learnt of this book from a friend, after the hype of the Sir Robert Winston’s discoveries into IVF. I wanted to find out more about the work of this great man, and how he had achieved so much in his life.

As an Undergraduate I wanted to find out how people manage to be so successful in their careers, perhaps they had been given a ‘helping hand’, or had just got lucky? No, they are all people who started out the same as you and I, and worked hard for what they believe in.

I thought that the interviews might be a bit too ‘heavy going’, but this book instead unearthed for me a series of people who were all geniuses in their own field. The interviews with Joanna Lumley and Esther Rantzen turned out to be my favourites, perhaps because they are both household names.

It is a book that is well worth reading, some of the people I hardly knew of! But now I feel like I could do something worthwhile with my life too. The book is one that lends itself to more than one read – you discover more things each time you delve into it.

The next stage for me is to buy In the Psychiatrist’s Chair Book 1!"
