"This book is a good guide for beginners with a lot of information for the more experienced as well. It covers briefly the history of herbalism, how to make herbal remedies, explains how to make compresses, lotions etc. Then there is a section detailing every herb individually with a photograph, parts used and how, and of course for which ailment, including caution if the herb is for example toxic in bigger amounts. The last section lists ailments and their treatment for self-help diagnosis. The book is easy to follow with clear and beautiful pictures. The small size of the book makes it ideal for putting it in your bag and taking it with you anywhere. The best thing about it is that it works!! My sister tried some of the ideas for eczema (Aloe Vera)and found them extremely helpful. I recommend it to everyone!"
