ABOUT THE BOOK
Presents the vast, and sometimes overwhelming details of anatomy and physiology. This title reviews the core concepts of A&P and offers detailed coverage of every body system, nutrition, fluids and electrolytes, reproduction and lactation, and genetics.
"This book was purchased to help with my coursework on Anatomy & Physiology for holistic therapy. I chose this book over others as it states inside the front cover that there is extra study material available to you such as powerpoint presentations, study cards, etc; when you log in with the code in the front of the book. Unfortunately the only study material available when you log in with the code are the pictures that are already in the book. The rest is only available tutors. It does not make this clear and is very misleading. I have complained to the publishers that they should change the way it is written. Not only that it does not really cover what I need it to and as I have scratched off the code in the front of the book can't send it back. Another sale on EBAY I think."

"Great book to start off, with funny reminders along the way. It has lots of pictures and explanations to them, really good book."

"Indispensible introduction to A & P.
It makes a great starting point and after you've read and understood each section Ross & Wilson makes more sense!"

"Bought this for my daughter to break her in gently into A&P before she starts uni doing her nursing course. I am a Health care professional and have come across these books as useful aids before reading more academic books on the chosen subject."

"This is a well-presented book and covers most subjects in good detail although some were not examined much at all - for example, the skeleton was glossed over, nothing on the individual vertebrae etc. A curious mix of complicated detail and slightly superficial entries - but overall a good reference and revision guide."
