They begin by placing the psychology in the context of the history & development of depth & spiritual psychotherapy. Next there is a clear and meaningful description of the terrain; the person, their psyche and connection to Self.
They provide an understandable explanation of the process by which an individual adapts to survive and how later if these adaptations no longer serve, a person may begin the process of consciously integrating their experience; developing a clearer sense of themselves and greater freedom to choose how to live their life in a way which is meaningful for them.
I would strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning and understanding more about psychosynthesis ~ a psychology which is truly a "Psychology of the Spirit"."
