What's Happening to Me? (Girls Edition) (What's Happening to Me?)

"I am looking for a book on Puberty for my ten year old son (and for me, being a girl I know nothing about boys and puberty!). I have looked at this one to see what the review says and the reviewer says she bought it for her daughter! Presumably this is in the wrong place? I am really struggling with this as for books where the age range is described as 9-12, the reviewers seem to be saying they are aimed at teenagers. Most of the other reviews refer to teenagers as well. Could we have better age range guides, please?! I have given the book 1 star, not because it isn't any good, I haven't read it (I am trying to find out whether I should!!), but because the system tells me I have to."

"I bought this book for my 9yr old daughter who is going through early puberty. Very child-friendly (there aren't many books on this topic that are aimed at the younger end of the puberty age range).It's very well written, nicely laid out so it doesn't look daunting! Easily understood and with good diagrams. It does mention a couple of topics I would have preferred to leave until later (ie masturbation and sex), but only one or two sentences. It's good for explaining why puberty causes mood swings, spots and sore bits. I have recommended this book to several friends, my daughter loves it and has read it cover to cover several times."
