"Beware of the synopsis posted with this item 'Start with a basic bar of white soap, or learn how to make a bar from scratch' there are no instructions in this book on how to make a bar of soap from scratch and this description is blatantly misleading.
The book concentrates on making hand MILLED soap, which, as any soapmaker will know is not the same as making your own soap.
When some of the recipies call for items like 'mild dish washing detergent', I also have to question the 'naturalness' of the recipies.
If you really want to learn how to make your own soap, you'll be much better off with The Hand Made Soap Book by Melinda Coss ...."

"An easy to follow book for anyone starting to make soap. Basic instructions are in an easy format with lots of tips for the novice as well as the experienced soap maker. Excellent value for money and a good book to start with."
