"This book used to be one of my favourites. Dorothy Shepherd is well known for her anecdotal and highly readable writing style (and her wonderful introductory book 'Magic of the Minimum Dose'). This book includes her view on vaccination and prophylaxis, and the efficacy of homeopathy in epidemics. It is easy enough for the beginner to enjoy yet reliable enough to act as a reference book for the expert. This book made a strong enough impression on me that I still remember it welI enough to write this from my memory as I no longer have it. A student at the UEA to whom I stupidly lent it several years ago after I talk I did on homeopathy, decided to keep it herself despite her promise of it's return. I sincerely hope she values it as much as I did.That's why it USED to be one of my favourites, I haven't seen it for years."
