"This book has a lot of practical knowledge in it. It combines the general theory behind Ayur-veda with some very practical advice. It is excellent for Women, focussing on our emotional and psychological rythms as well as giving a good guide to childbirth. It is written for the absolute beginner, including transliterations of the Sanskrit terms which I found very useful! Overall, one of the most useful and enjoyable books I have read on Ayurveda."
