ABOUT THE BOOK
"This book gives you hope and belief that you will be blessed with a special gift, a baby. Since suffering from my second miscarraige, reading this book has provided me great comfort and healing. God will provide, talk to your body and believe. Thank you Jesus for reassuring me. This book was recommended to me and I am recommending it to you."

"This book is dangerous.
It advocated that women who are physically barren can and will have children if they have enough faith. I believe in miracles, and have seen barren women become pregnant by God's grace. But teaching that it is the couples FAITH that is responsible for whether or not they have children is absurd. There are many women who are barren for many reasons - some unknown, but these women are not at fault, it is not a lack of faith. In many cases trusting in God's soverignty takes more faith for these women.
This book also suggests that God wants to give women a completely pain free birth. In Genesis 3:16, the curse (that is now broken through Christ) is that our labour pains will be increased/multiplied - this suggests that labour pains already exist, which medically makes sense as our bodies are doing something extra-ordinary that it doesn't usually do.
It does teach that we shoul let go of fear, and that is totally right. Giving birth should not be a fearful thing, and in many cases fear produces more pain as the muscles tense against the contractions.
This book has very little practical "how-to" and focuses on other people's experiences. It mis-quoted many Bible verses, and took over 3 out of context. It implied that women who have pain during childbirth have little faith.
I would not recommend this to any couple, there are other books out there that encourage couples to seek God, believe for miracles, and give great Bible counselling for those who loose children or who cannot have children, this book does not do that. This book could easily make a barren couple or a women who experiences a bad birth feel inadequate as a Christian. "

"This is a very awesome book in that it gives you her testimony of her own births, and encourages you that you can do the same. It was recommended to me when I was pregnant with my third child. I went on to have a painless and rapid birth. I am a little worried that if someone does have a painful birth, they may think they failed in faith, however. For a more graceful approach, I liked Christ Centered Childbirth by Kelly Townsend. She explained that no matter what happens in your birth, God will use it for good and has a valuable lesson for you. I think with that approach, Supernatural Childbirth is an outstanding addition to your birthing library!"

"I had my son in November 2004 and reading that book throughout my pregnancy and when I was trying to get pregnant really took me to another level with God. It made me more confident and focused as I had gone through several miscarriages and by just reading this book and confessing the prayers God prevailed in every situation.
I thank God and the writer for this wonderful book and I will recommend it to anyone trying to conceive or are already pregnant. Trust me, my delivery was quick..."

"This book was a blessing. I had a great pregnancy. My childbirth was not painless, but it was a nice experience. This was because I just had this peace in me that everything was going to alright. The medical personnel did not make it any easier with all their procedures, but God was in control, because I gave Him the chance to be in control.
I have a lovely baby boy, to God be the glory!
I am definitely looking forward to another pregnancy and childbirth."
