Encyclopedia of Homoeopathy

This work gives a comprehensive alphabetical reference survey of the major areas of homoeopathy from its beginnings to the present day. It is arranged in four major sections. The first section gives the essential key-notes of the major remedies with a description of their action and the indications to prescribe. The second section describes the common major illnesses with a brief list of their relevant remedies and recommended homoeopathic treatments. The third section looks at homoeopathic philosophy (involving the approach and process of prescribing) are dealt with and contrasted with the conventional allopathic approach to the patient and their illness, while the fourth section gives the history and background of the subject with a note of the major historical and contemporary significant figures on the homoeopathic scene since its origin.
