The Ultimate Deep Sleep

"This CD usually works for me and sends me to sleep.
It is marvellous to hear a woman's voice with a pleasant British accent on a sleep tape.
I do tolerate some men's voices, providing they do not sound aggressive. But I do not like most American voices, especially male voices, as I usually find them difficult to understand.
However I have reservations: she occasionally drops a 't', she uses the phrase 'more drowsier' twice and she mentions 'positivity' too much. These problems annoy me more and more over time.

"loved this cd. the music was beautiful and i thought her voice was very relaxing. couldnt detect any accent she speaks in a mystical hypnotic way and seems to talk to your soul or inner being. i am sleeping like a baby now as the cd helps you to put things into perspective and helped me to deal with worries and stress in a way that no longer knocks me off balance. this cd has taught me the meaning of deep refreshing sleep. i no longer lie in my bed staring into space worrying about not sleeping i just sleep now like i must have done so when i was a baby. its like my mind has forgotton the long long habit i had of poor sleep. so top marks for this cd. "

"I no longer have insomnia Im glad to report - its just unbelievable. I have had sleep problems for years and tried so many things the list is endless. My friend who is a GP told me to try this CD as one of her patients had overcome his insomnia by listening to this CD. I have found it incredible - it has giving me more than I could have ever dreamed - and talking about dreams - im having plenty - it did the trick for me - I hope this review will help other people who are suffering as a product like this is rare - a find - I know one size does not fit all but I can only speak for my own experience and mine was and still is a highly positive one - Lorraine Ireland is an earth angel. "This CD is rubbish. One of the biggest reasons is because the persons voice is simply not relaxing. She lacks the relaxing tone needed for this to work. I think it's her accent that ruins it.

Also she's just not good at giving the right words to move you into a relaxed state. Example: On one part she tells you to imagine a calming colour then let that calming colour flow through you, starting from your toes. OK, I tried it, but it didn't work. Why? Because how is imagining a colour flowing through your body relaxing? It isn't. I just had an image of myself lying down all blue (blue being my relaxing colour). How's that relaxing? It's just silly.

If done by the right person I know this stuff works, but this women just doesn't do it well. Simple as.

"Maybe I am just not susceptible to hypnosis but I can't say that this CD had any effect whatsoever. Disappointed but not surprised!"
