"The book has been written by a lady who has lost the use of one hand and so is very aware of the problems this can cause.
Every page has a referance to goods available from a website in the USA, not a lot of help if you live in the UK!
Postage stamp sized illustrations are too small and dark to be of any use but the text makes up for this.
There are better books available for us one handed people."

"After suffering a stroke and subsequently becoming one handed I found this book invaluable in instructing me how to do the things I took for granted when I was two handed and being able to perform things like tying a tie with just the one hand... Now I can do things with one hand that many two handed people can only do with two that I never appreciated before... well worth the outlay just to get that little bit more independence......"
