You Can Read Anyone: Never Be Fooled, Lied To, or Taken Advantage of Again

"Firstly, let it be known that this book is made of two distinct parts;
Part one deals with actively applying techniques which involve interacting with the person to determine their: opinion, confidence, level of interest, stability and the presence of a hidden agenda, in any given situation.
Whilst the underlying psychology in this section that explains human behaviour is spot on, the techniques are sometimes hit and miss and not always practical or reliable.
I see this part of the book as more of a bonus section, which is incredibly interesting but not really necessery to fulfill the promise made by the title.

That said, the second part of the book is the profiling system, which is where the book really shines. This method only requires observation, and from my experience is greatly accurate in determining how a person will act in any situation. SNAP works on determining a person's level of self-esteem as well as the variables of sitution, and then adding these factors together to give an reliable method of determing how that person thinks, and subsequently how they will act.

Probably DJL's best book to date, and certainly worth buying whether you are looking to read and predict people's behaviour, or just enjoy understanding the principles of human nature!
