"Whilst obviously written as a revision aid for medical students, I found this an excellent resource for nurses such as myself who only dabble in pharmacology - I've used it frequently to look up mechanisms of action, which are presented in a clear and concise way which I've not seen in other books. Very handy when you want to quickly check out how a drug works without having to wade through pages of complicated chemistry!"

"Good book that covers almost everything you're likely to need to know for pre-clinical pharm exams. Can be used as a revision text, with helpful summary diagrams on each double page and explanations that include the very basics. Seems to have quite a comprehensive index of drugs that will make it a good reference book in the future as well. Highly recommended."

"This book is great because it has lots of illustrations, which aid with the learning process, so excellent for those last minute exams. This book is definately geared towards medical students, nurses and anyone in an allied health profession other than pharmacy. For students studying Pharmacy or Pharmacology this book is good enough for you to undersatnd the basics, but more in depth books would be required for you to gain the information needed to get those good answers in your degree. Great for understanding, but not comprehensive enough on it's own, for all students."
