Still, like any self-help manual, it's useless unless you apply it. "For me this book was a waste of time. At best the advise is common sense on good manners, but for the most mere pre-modern prejudices on men versus women. While the book tries to tell you to be a real man in some oldschool sense, it offers no actual concrete advice on the most important issues: Compared to this one Lowndes' book offers lots of usable and detailed suggestions on gaining confidence and on how to interpret women and interact successfully with them. The number of syntax, spelling and even printing errors disturbs the meaning throughout the book."
