Beyond Shiatsu: Ohashi's Bodywork Method

"What a fun book! Just looking at Ohashi sensei makes you feel better! Working with your client certainly becomes a partnership this way. It's a shame that Ohashi sensei found it neccessary to differentiate between his approach and traditional shiatsu. I actually don't see it that way, as being two different ways of treatment. I do see it as a great way to illustrate the fact that shiatsu is a cooperation between therapist and client that holds an endless sea of potential for growth, change and of course healing.
It is one mans view on a very versatile and ancient system of healing art. It's a very informative and illustrative book. If you are not used to being so physical in your approach to treatment, it will be a delightful eye opener. Although I suspect that many of us already trained in shiatsu will recognize and endorse this way of approaching treatment already."
