"The first point about this book is it is British - British authors with substantial provenance and expertise, British case studies and relevent facts and figures.
I was quite surprised by how much I learnt from this book. It has the content to appeal to both those thinking about buying coaching services and those working as professional coaches in the business world. The substance goes well beyond any hype to give real case studies of best practice and ROI - what works and what doesn't, in this regard the book is excellent and lives up to the title of "Essential".
Definately worth the investment for both the coach and executives/managers who want to know how to really get the most from this new profession."

"Although i am new to senior management i found this book to be a great help in asssiting me in getting the most out of my staff and my job. I felt it was written in an easy to understand manner and offered practical suggestions to problems i encounter daily. I particually enjoyed the examples they used especaily as they were of real buisness situations. I have found this book an invaluble tool and am recommending it all my collegues.
