USER REVIEWS
"I was having one of thise "I have nothing to wear" days when I bought this book. The ideas were easy to follow, the pictures were great and it inspired me to sort my wardrobe. With the addition of only 1 suit and 3 pairs of shoes I was able to recreate all the combinations shown and to get maximum mileage out of my clothes for the entire year with the winter/summer advice in each chapter. A fabulous book - like having your best friend with you to give you the confidence to try thing you otherwise might not. If you only buy one style book, it should be this one."

"I really love this book, it's in a great format with loads of good information and the fact that it isn't chock full of models helps too.. Lots of drawings of clothes makes it feels as if this book will last, it won't be totally dated in a year. Gives you help on what to wear with what, necessary items of clothing to buy, tips on combinations you mightn't have thought of and so on. Covers everything, if you ask me! I will definitely be referring to this when I'm redoing my sad wardrobe. :)"

"This book is brilliant - and as a successful professional image consultant I know what I am talking about. If you are looking for a "What not to Wear" manual where you can find your body shape and find the ideal solution you may be dissappointed - the tips and advice in here are so much better as it contains general dressing rules that are applicable to everyone.

The pictures are brilliant - hardly any text and it is all very current (2004). Choose this book with "Instyle Secrets of Style" over the "What not to wear" which is more fun that fact.

Happy Shopping!"

"I bought this book on the strength of reading other Customer Reviews and I have to admit I was disappointed. As a devotee of Trinny & Susannah, I was expecting something along the lines of their books. But no, scrappy illustrations of how clothes should fit (goodness, boots should fit snuggly around the leg, should they?), and flat photographs of items of clothing made the book dull to look at, and seemingly aimed at just-landed aliens. Girls, if you're looking for a style to suit your shape, stick with the What Not To Wear gurus - they really know what they're talking about!"

"This book is fantastic! Very colourful, descriptive 14 chapters (with soooo many pictures) covering each garment such as skirts, shoes, jeans and jackets. Provides fit and styling tips, the best type of garment suited for each body type, what kind of garments they suggest you to have in your closet and how to wear a specific garment in soooo many different ways-e.g. for evening and daytime. It also contains further sections such as 'rules for shopping' and how to take care of your clothes. So easy to read and refer back to. This is perfect for everyone (and at all ages) who loves shopping!!"
