"If you experience SAD,think you might, or know someone who does; this book tells you all you need to know.
It is wonderfully written,a real feeling of exemplary bedside manner. There is more than enough info for a medical professional to educate themselves in this area ,as it would appear many do in the UK; but at the same time, the layperson can understand every word.
I feel there is lot more to come in terms of energy techniques,or psychological techniques to alleviate or remove the problem, and the book hints at that, with a lot of positive reframing of the condition.
For the time being, light therapy researched by Dr Rosenthal et al is an excellent way to deal with a treatable condition that drugs don't help with in my experience."
