ABOUT THE BOOK

EDITORIAL REVIEW
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is one of the most popular of the fifteen National Trails in England and Wales. Running for 186 miles (299 km), it follows the spectacular coast of the Pembrokeshire National Park from St Dogmaels on the peninsula's northern coast, via the lovely towns of St David's and Tenby, and the dramatic natural harbour of Milford Haven, to Amroth on the south coast. With its soaring cliffs, interspersed with isolated coves and sandy beaches, this is one of the most varied and least spoiled coastlines in the country, offering walkers a chance to visit a host of sites of geological, historical or wildlife interest. This book is the complete, official guide for the long-distance walker or the weekend stroller. All you need is this one book.
USER REVIEWS
"This is a fantastic route guide, with good descriptions of the coast path and what to look out for on the way (it works North to South, so from Cardigan to Tenby, so some of the narrative would not be as useful if you are walking in the opposite direction). There are clear ordnance survey maps included, obvioulsy useful regardless of in which direction you tackle the path, and very thorough historical accounts, plus descriptions of the natural geography of specific areas along the path.

This is not, however, a planning tool. It does give some distance guides, but there is not any real information about places to stay, places to eat, or public transport - please see Pembrokeshire Coast Path (Pembrokeshire Coast Path: Amroth to Cardigan) if you need a book that will help you to plan your holiday. In my opinion these two books compliment eachother very well."

"This is an excellent and informative book which is an essential companion for all trips to the Pembrokeshire Coast. I have learnt so much more about the history of an area whilst experiencing the outstanding natural beauty of the coastline. The maps are extremely clear and are still relevant today, despite this being an older version of the Trail Guide."
