This could be considered taking Carl Rogers' work further. As it was only near the end of his life he began to see the possibilities of a spiritual aspect of the model of counselling he developed.

Brian Thorne writes in such a way, that the subject is made easy to understand.

No mean feat since in reality the subject is deep and complex.

If you feel you want to stretch and challange yourself as a counsellor this could do just that.

It gives much 'food for thought'. I believe that there is a great deal to gain personally on many levels for the reader, from this book."
