ABOUT THE BOOK
"A really good book, which explains via clear colour pictures, and accompanying text how vital foot balance is in the horse.
There are also plenty of before and after shots too, to illustrate the difference a correct trim can make.

"The above 'customer' seems to be stalking Amazon and rejecting a huge selection of books claiming they are out-dated and inaccurate. In this case, you are perhaps more qualified than a leading expert in equine locomotion and a Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Farriers?
To anyone in doubt this is a fantastic book. I find the layout easy on the eye and the text detailed but easy for a lay person to read and understand. The text is backed up by some excellent images and diagrams and leaves the reader in no doubt as to the importance of the foot balance in the maintenance of a sound horse. "

"Nowadays, a book on horses' hooves which recommends shoeing as a solution for every problem, is outdated. Balance can be achieved in a much more natural way by a trimming method that copies the wild horse's foot and which will put any horse on the road of recovery. It would be nice to see this work rewritten, taken these findings into account."
