"A useful reference book - lots of information that's hard to find elsewhere. A handy guide to base oils, a topic neglected by the huge majority of aromatherapy books.

There's some information I'd hope to find that is lacking (is it suitable for children? what percentage of a massage oil should it form?) and a few base oils missing (vitamin E oil, black seed oil, neem oil, emu oil).

Overall though, if you're interested in the subject, a worthwhile addition to your library."
