"As a beginner to iridology this book provided a basic explanation of the principles of iridology and sclerology. It gave a detailed diagnosis of health problems visible through interpretation of the condition of the iris, and suggested remedies to correct these health issues. Each chapter studied a different health issue, covering a range of areas; stomach, colon, circulatory system, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and nervous system. A comprehensive chart is included at the beginning of the book, picturing the areas of the iris which reflect which organ/ area of the body is weakened/ diseased. A comprehensive list of herbal remedies is included for each area studied. Although a good book for a beginner to gain an understanding of iridology, a more comprehensive book, with colour photos to illustrate each condition would be necessary to gain an accurate diagnosis, as the black and white drawings in the book are very basic. Overall, a good basic introduction."
