Wedding Photography: A Professional Guide

"This book is aimed purely at the absolute novice/amateur photographer. Any professional wishing to pick up a few tips, don't even consider this book. It is a total waste of money and an insult to practicing professionals. I was fooled by the high star rating given. The heading 'Professional Guide' is questionable to say the least."

"I am now into double figures when it comes to buying Wedding Photography Books and I'm glad to say this one is by far the best. Do I wish I bought this one first? No, as I have several books to compare this one to.

The other books I have are all good; it's just that this one stands out more. It gives you a guide as to what equipment is needed for the big day. From the front cover to the back page it is full of beautiful wedding pictures and ideas. The layout is very user friendly. It has a fresh modern approach to wedding photography with lots of new ideas. Each one of the beautiful pictures has the camera settings beside it. Which, I found very useful. This book also gives you structures for the day, tips on how to interact with the wedding party. Most of all, this entire book makes it seem an enjoyable experience for the photographer (as it should be) and not just a nerve racking day. The book also spends a lot of time explaining how to take the pictures from your memory card to produce the finished album, as well as how to advertise and how to sell your product.

I have taken a lot form this book, one of the most important for me, is confidence. I can now stop thinking about becoming a Professional Wedding Photographer, and start taking steps to achieving that goal.

I went onto the author's website (details in the book) for more inspiration and was very excited to find that she also runs (affordable) practical training courses. I am currently in negotiations with my wife, to book my first course.
