IVF Support: Relaxation and Self Hypnosis

"I bought and used this CD during my 3rd IVF cycle (summer 2007). When I first listened to it I couldn't stop giggling because the practitioner's voice was so slow and soothing. As I carried on using it I found it more and more relaxing and it really helped me focus my mind on visualising a positive outcome. I am sure that using the CD was one of the factors that helped this cycle to work (we are now expecting a baby in May 2008 - hooray!) I tried acupuncture on my 2nd cycle but found that this CD was more beneficial as it allowed me to be more in control and I could listen to the CD before going to bed or as frequently as I wanted during the build up to egg collection and embryo transfer. It also helped me to stay positive during the 2 week wait. I hope it brings a similar level of success and comfort to others ladies who are trying to conceive through IVF treatment."
