"I purchase a lot of books on dating and most are fun but don't really have all that much impact on my life. This book, while it didn't "turn me upside down and shake me out", did, in fact, make my eyes pop open a few times. I was drawn to the author's ability to be so honest and her inability to sugar-coat anything. Men, she says, aren't that hard to figure out and finally, I understood it. I understood why they flee or run off or lose interest. It's simple, it's apparent, and it's all in this book. I was in a slump but now I'm out and ready to get back out there. This book helped lift the veil and, not only that, it has a lot of powerful messages. I think a lot of young women--even those under 20, need to read this as it would help them not to make so many mistakes as their elders. But it's good for all of us. So glad I ran across it."
