"One minute wellness...that would be nice wouldn't it! The book explains the importance of exercise, diet, positive thinking, and healthy lifestyle choices. Great so far. I'm Pro Chiropractic, manual therapy, and for alternative medicince, every profession has their sweet spot. It's people like Dr. Ben who give the Chiropractic profession a terrible name. Dr. Ben has been known to treat 1000 pt's in a week, do the math, but that's not very much time to spend with each patient. One minute, adjust the spine and health is magically turned on....this is complete garbage and quackery. The body is complex, and there are many aspects that need to be addressed when treating pts, and it's very negligent to propose a one minute solution. If you like cults, then you will like Dr. Ben and his croonies that follow him...
All techniques have their rightful place, and it's cool there are many different treatment options. However, I almost tossed this book out my window when I heard Dr. Ben talk about Chritopher Reeve's, yes...Superman. We all know about his unfortunate fall that broke his neck causing paralysis...very sad. Get this, Dr. Ben makes a suggestions that if Mr. Reeve's neck would have been in proper position maybe he wouldn't have broken his neck. This is absurd and he should be sued for such an unprofessional statement. "
