ABOUT THE BOOK

USER REVIEWS
"This is the first book the author wrote about feelings, which caused me to purchase her follow up book on "Healing Feelings from the Heart". I really like both these books. Feelings Buried Alive gives you a list of feelings and where they are found in the body. For those of us in the natural health and inner healing community, this kind of information is invaluable. It is a book that you need to glean from because you may not agree with all aspects of what the Author is saying, but its worth having in your library for reference."

"The title is appropiate for the information inside. The book not only informs a person who, what, why, where a person with buried feelings struggle in life, but shows you a solution to resolving the inner conflict, enabling you to return or possibly gain for the first time the peace inside we all desire. "I got this book at the behest of my chiropractor, and while there is some good and useful information within, it's obscured by the impossible text, which is repetitive, condescending and difficult to read. Why any book should gift the reader with purple text, lots of ALL CAPS and !!!! so that it looks like a post on a forum by a 11-year old girl I will never know.

The awful "script" is nearly impossible to parse. I have no idea what use it would be to anyone. I substituted a healing prayer that at least makes some sense.

The author makes some excellent points about how emotions affect us physically and how we can improve our physical health by improving our emotional health. It's too bad she, like so many self-published authors, thought an editor was optional. This book could have been quite readable and accessible, and therefore very useful to so many more people.

I only wish I had come across something in this vein that was readable that I could recommend as an alternative. If I do, I'll certainly return to mention it."

"I loved this book very much, but can someone help me? Throughout the book, Karol refers to "the script" in passing. In several places, she provides a sentence or two. Nowhere is there a page that has "The Script" and it's laid out for you. Did I miss it? Please let me know. I'd love to use this valuable tool properly. My book does not appear to be missing any pages.

Thanks!

"I wish I had this book 25 years ago when my kids were young. It would have helped me read their emotional/physical health as well as us as parents. I thought the way it read was a bit funny. At first it read like a pamphlet that was trying to convince me of something but after I got into the book it no longer bothered me. I didn't read the book from first to last page, I ended up looking up illness and their meanings and then began to read the book. This book was given to me by a relative and was part of my inspiration to study yoga in more depth. The entire family now looks at the book and tries to resolve any issues before we actually get very sick. Even if you don't believe the authors take on what your illness may be trying to tell you, it has been good to stop and reflect on whether or not there may be some truth as to why you aren't feeling well. Pretty soon this area of knowledge will be more acknowledged and more in depth."
