It has wonderful stories throughout, many from a variety of spiritual teachers from the world's spiritual traditions, that clarify and expand on the points being made. It is a great study of the body's subtle energy system. For each chakra, the authors give the following correspondences: location, color, sanskrit name, # of petals, positive expression, unbalanced expression, corresponding part of body, musical instrument,gemstone, spiritual tradition and life lesson.
