"GRANDMOTHER'S KITCHEN WISDOM: OVER 6001 SOLUTIONS TO COMMON KITCHEN PROBLEMS, is a fascinating book with dozens of little known food facts sprinkled in among many "old wives' tales" that your grandmother used to tell. It also has an abundance of nutritional information about each food group as well as type of food. It's two faults are poor editing (incorrect grammar and some duplication) as well as the lack of a comprehensive index by which to look at various uses or "factoids" about a certain food or substance. Otherwise, it is fun reading and packed with many "factoids" to carry away with you"
