ABOUT THE BOOK
There's a one-size-fit-all therapy, which helps heal both physical and mental problems - and the book, Emotional Freedom, is where you can find it. Emotional Freedom is a compact book with a lot of punch. Why? Because the method works by showing real people like you how to deal with real problems. The method is called Emotional Freedom Techniques. The book spells out a method using acupressure points, which will heal most issues of the body and mind. The better it's done, the better it works. People who are skilled with this technique can heal most physical or mental issues up to 80 percent of the time. It doesn't matter whether you're a layperson, a patient or a mental health worker. Emotional Freedom Techniques will work for you. This method is presented in a psychobabble-free, clearly organized, profusely illustrated manner. It's crammed with real-life examples, including emotional, pain and addiction problems, which can help guide you toward targeting the method to the specific problems at hand. No muscle testing or complicated or confusing diagnostic decisions are required. A single method does it all. And it's reusable. To help readers go back again and again for relief of whatever physical or emotional distress may be troubling them. The book has a detailed index pointing to answers for any question about using the treatment. This is the kind of book people can buy for their friends and family - and often do.
"Along with "The Secret," tapping energy meridians are useful tools for reaching emotional balance. But this book is too short to really explain the technique; it is concurrently too short and too redundant. Gallo's "Energy Tapping" is more helpful with specific guidelines for handling specific issues."

"This little book is a 'how to ...' manual to help people who have aches and pains or an emotional problem which they feel is intruding too much into their lives, like a fear of hights.
It is very easy to read and gives a very good description of the do-it-yourself 'tapping' technique which is very similar to acupuncture. If there is one thing wrong with the book, it is that the technique is described in a way which so simple to follow and easy to do, that you feel that it can't work. Don't worry, it does.
The book does exactly the same job as a classy one-day seminar, but for a lot less money. If you want to get rid of an ache or a worry, then this is the book for you! "

"This works. It is easy, inexpensive, almost immediate and effective. I bought the book, read it and did what was suggested. It works. No pills, no therapy, no pain and no shame."

"What a load of horse pucky! Over and over the author relates that he's going to show the techniques for riding oneself of PHYSICAL ailment - then never does! What's new about changing behaviors with affirmations? I wish I could return this book - I wasted $9.95 plus S&H when I could have used that money for a good meal with friends. Don't waste your time or money - this book IS useless and went into the trash."

"This book is full of good added material on the subject of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). I give it only 4 stars because I feel that everyone who really wants to learn the correct way to apply EFT will need to order the DVDs from Gary Craig's (the inventor) website, and read his free manual. Seeing is believing, in this case.
But, reading this book is very useful for those who wish to be quickly introduced to EFT, which is how I did it. I strongly recommend searching out videos on top of this, though.
EFT is the real deal. These tapping techniques consist of tapping with your fingers on certain accupressure points on your face and body that are called, "energy meridians." The main theme of EFT is that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system. The theory claims that if you were "tuned into" your negative emotion with your thoughts, tapped on all the meridians, you would be able to remove the disruption(s) from your energy system, thus curing you of the distress.
It's weird, but it works! It sounds too good to be true, but it IS true nonetheless. I've been able to put a few fears and other negative emotions behind me, and I feel I have more freedom. I'm only getting started and I can't wait to see what's at the end of the "rainbow...""
