ABOUT THE BOOK

EDITORIAL REVIEW

Why are prominent doctors and medical researchers all over the world interested in the extraordinary healings reported by the patients of Dr. Eric Pearl? What does it mean when these patients report the sudden disappearance of afflictions such as cancer, AIDS, and cerebral palsy? And what does it mean when people who interact with Dr. Pearl report a sudden ability to access this healing energy not just for themselves, but for others, too? What is this phenomenon?

Well, you might have to reconsider everything you=ve read up until now about conventional healing. The Anew@ frequencies of healing described by Dr. Pearl transcend Atechnique@ entirely and bring you to levels beyond those previously accessible to anyone, anywhere. This book takes you on Eric Pearl=s journey from the discovery of his ability to heal, to his well-deserved reputation as the instrument through which this process is being introduced to the world. But most important, The Reconnection reveals methods you can use to personally master these new healing energies.
USER REVIEWS
"Great book. Though he pushes his seminars and workshops, he admits anyone can learn to work with the energy on their own. I liked the writing syle."

"I really want to give this book more stars, because I think there *is* some good information within its pages. But I can't. See, I have a really hard time accepting a spiritual message/lesson when it comes from someone who conducts himself in what appears to me to be an UNspiritual manner. This is what I think Pearl does throughout this book, and it put me off in a really big way.

I'm not saying he can't be human; that's fine. Drink, party, swear -- do whatever you want. But in extolling the virtues of his own energy modality he seems to love laughingly putting down countless others, as well as those who teach those modalities and the followers they attract. He also roundly lambastes the typical cost for (and functionality of) metaphysical seminars, but then proceeds to indicate that in order to really learn his modality one ought to attend his seminars -- which appear to start at the extremely steep cost of $800.00! In case you don't know, that is WAY more than most metaphysical seminars out there.

Another thing which troubled me was his declaration that evil does not exist, and that rituals (for protection and efficiency) are for the most part fear-based and needless. However, he never explains how he knows this to be true, giving us instead his seemingly authoritative position on it and encouraging us to follow along. This seems to me to be a negligent and dangerous stance to take, as I *do* believe darkness (and negativity, and evil) exists in the world and that all spiritual workers ought to be aware of it.

Look, I don't claim to know much about energy work, but I *can* tell when someone is being needlessly negative and rude when it's simply not warranted. There are many ways to skin a cat, as it were, and just because Pearl likes *his* way doesn't mean his way is superior (though he'll tell you differently) or that he knows better. Because that's simply not the case. It's also just unspeakably arrogant.

And so the end, I couldn't get past the tone long enough to embrace the message. I think Pearl really needs to work on his approach and his humility (if there is any). Because instead of delivering an exciting and potentially ground-breaking message, what he's done is come off as the kind of extremely elitist, myopic "spiritual leader" he claims to so disdain.

I can't recommend this. Sorry."

"I did learn something from this book so I gave it 3 stars, but overall I was disappointed.

I felt the book showed Dr. Pearl had fallen prey to his own description of "getting stuck at a certain level and not progressing."

I think that Dr. Richard Bartlett started at this point in his book Matrix Energetics and has taken it quantum leaps further than where Dr. Pearl got stuck.Matrix Energetics: The Science and Art of Transformation

Also Pearl pretty much tells you flat out he was "gifted" with this energy and the only way you can get it is through him at a seminar or by having him heal you.

Give me a break! How do you corral energy, when an energy frequency has increased it is available to everyone and there is no bottleneck named Pearl that you are required to go to in a seminar to have him bestow that energy on you.

In the first chapters he tells you there are no rules than he uses about the last five chapters to tell you the all the rules and there are a LOT of them."

"The author is consice, clear and thought provoking. Humour is used to bridge the gap between man and god. The teachings are a superb manifestation of god in action. Eric Pearl has provided a simple yet effective modality for self transformation. A must read. "

"There are many good reviews already posted that explain the contents of this book and reconnective healing. Therefore,my purpose for this review is a validation of the author and of the efficacy of reconnective healing. I have just returned from attending a Level I and 2 Reconnective Healing seminar given by the author of this book. Dr.Eric Pearl appears to be an intelligent, caring, sane and funny person. Most importantly, he comes across as authentic.

I consider myself to be an educated and skeptical, but also open minded person. I can verify that what Eric Pearl writes about in his book (in regards to his healing methods) really does work.I have observed him demonstrating and teaching this method.I have seen how people doing this for the first time are able to quickly learn how to do this and I had my own personal healing while others were just practicing on me! Some people will be able to do this type of healing work just from reading his book, but others may need to attend a seminar to learn how to do it. So if you've read his book and didn't get the results you expected, don't dismiss his writing and his work as that of a charlatan. Also, someone wrote in their review that you have to pay for a reconnection for this to work. This is NOT necessary for reconnective healing to work. It may or may not take you further in your work with healing, but it definitely is not required for it to work.

Dr. Pearl makes the point of stating that other healing techniques such as Reiki, Chi Quoing, EFT, and Matrix Energetics (Dr. Bartlett studied under Dr. Pearl) among others, are subsets of the much greater spectrum of frequencies that are accessed through Reconnective Healing. Trying to use other energy healing techniques in combination with this does not add to, but actually dilutes the effectiveness of reconnective healing. What he is saying is, this is not energy healing, but an entirely new type of healing frequency of light and information we are accessing.

We have a long way to go in our understanding of reality and the true nature and workings of the Universe. As our knowledge grows, so too can our realization that we are creators and not just passive observers in this environment and the bodies we inhabit. Open your minds and realize that what you read in this book may be at the forefront of a "new medicine" and one that can enable us to have more control over our own health than we ever believed was possible.

Discovering and reading this book has had a positive effect on my life and I highly recommend it.
